Drop off, cleanup and pick up
Planning Tip: Planning ahead for this will help make things much smoother the week of your event.

DROPPING OFF ITEMS
If you have arranged to drop off some items earlier in the week, please keep this a quick pit stop. There is a locked room below the barn where some items may be stored until the morning of your event. There is no refrigerator or freezer space available until the day of your event at 9am. Please do not leave valuables. Rivercrest Farm is not responsible for items left onsite.
CLEANING UP AT THE END OF THE NIGHT
We strongly encourage you to take home gifts and cards and all personal items (check for phones, wallets, keys, etc.) from the bridal suite and cowboy room the night of your event. The bridal suite and cowboy rooms are cleaned nightly and all leftover personal items placed with your décor items. You will not have access to these rooms the next day.
Please plan to take home all your leftover food and alcohol the night of your event. You will want to plan ahead and may need to bring coolers from home and check with your caterer on how they pack up leftovers so that it is most convenient for transport. The refrigerator and freezers are cleaned out nightly after every event by our staff so anything left in there is considered unwanted and will not be kept cold. Please take your wedding cake and leftover desserts home that night!
Keep in mind: You are not responsible for washing Rivercrest dishes, taking out trash, tearing down tables/chairs. For more information on how setup and clean up works, please see the VENUE MANAGEMENT page.
PICKING UP THE NEXT MORNING
Some décor items may be left and picked up the next day between 8am and 11am (please keep this a quick pit stop). Our cleaning staff will move items to the lower part of the barn and place on tables. You may pull in on the gravel driveway (near the cedar pergola) and load from there. Please do not pull in to the top level of the barn – this must remain open for the next day’s event.
Cars may be left overnight at the farm and picked up before noon the next day.
Planning Tip: Fill your family and wedding party in on the plan for packing up (before they start drinking!). They may wake up and wonder who picked up their cufflinks/phone/shoes and try to show up at the barn for a three am scavenger hunt. Pick up time is strictly between 8 and 11am.
Keep in mind: You are responsible for returning any items to your other vendors (linens, florist’s vases, etc). If a vendor is picking up the night of the event, please advise them to pick up and load before midnight.
FLOWERS & GREENERY
All leftover flowers will be placed with your decor items. If you are planning to take them home and you have used Rivercrest Farm vases, please plan to bring a floral bucket or plastic bin - some way of transporting them.
Greenery on the staircases or arbor will be left, unless otherwise specified.
If you choose to leave your flowers, we will donate to a local nursing home, hospital, or charity on Monday.
