TENTS

In the spring of 2020, we added two custom, high-peaked tents to cover the concrete area alongside the barn on the same level as dinner and dancing. Our goal was to create more covered space to spread out tables, buffet, bar, etc. They were a huge hit for our 2020 events and we’re looking forward to using them again in 2021 and beyond.

The tents are installed flush to one another and are 20x40’ and 30x40’. They both start at 9’ tall to allow for better airflow and for driving access and drop-offs. These tents increase usable covered space by 2,000 square feet.

In the spring, we will install each tent with café lighting around the perimeter and chandeliers. They have worked well as space for an outdoor bar, additional guest seating, dance floor, buffet, etc.

Keep in mind: The tents will not have sides, but you may rent sides if you’d like that or for inclement weather. We recommend contacting Arise Tents. Arise Tents (as of July 2021) quoted: $280 for 3 sides and no divider between the tents, $75 delivery fee. There is a $45 additional fee for pickup/drop off on the weekend (may be necessary depending on event calendar).

Planning tip: If your caterer requires a tent for additional space (typical if your caterer is plating for a large wedding), we recommend contacting a tent company about renting a 20x20 tent with three sides for directly outside the kitchen door.
