Planning Tip: The best advice I can give you is to be honest with your guests and give them as much information as possible, whether this is shared on a wedding website or a details card in your invitation. Nobody wants to show up at an outdoor ceremony without an extra layer/sunglasses/flats, just in case! Here is some language that may be helpful:

“Ceremony will be on an open hilltop; please plan to arrive by 4pm for wagon ride transportation.” (for a 4:30pm ceremony)

“Ceremony will be outside on a shaded lawn, weather permitting.”

“The grounds are available to explore, please choose your footwear accordingly.”

Keep in mind: Sadly, there is not Uber available in our area. Guests will want to prearrange any Taxi or Uber pickups.

Planning Tip: If you are debating about hiring a shuttle service, we highly encourage it! The farm is located on a beautiful country road, but it is dark and windy at night. Guests are welcome to leave a car at the farm until noon the following day. We want the party to be a hit and everyone to get home safely! You can find our shuttle recommendations on the VENDORS page.
